INSTRUCTIONS

ASPECT 1: Google Yourself!

Verdict? I am not online. There are only two hits with my full name. I try to not put my name on anything online. But it really isn't good that one of them is an Anime Forum for a Club I joined. I would rather my name not be online at all in case I decided to do something important in the future I didn't want what I did on the internet to be my downfall.

The other result was on a website that just has everyone in US' name and their city. It's annoying but far from a frame-worthy information.

ASPECT 2: What is Lynchian?

To use the Lynchian style is to create a movie for less recognized senses. That means, to create a movie which you follow along with other functions of your mind that do not get exercised as much as the ones we use for anything we view in the world.

More to come on Lynchian style...

P2P in Class Day

And then VJ Future Worker Girl said:
Let there be Filesharing!
And it was so. All the students fluttered around their digital ones and zeros and picked out which they thought would place the best image they would want in the minds of their fellow classmates.

My Given Files

With this set up I had successfully set up my basic traits and neatly cleared away the more shady things that rhyme with "Forchun". I have games, things to use for digital art, movies, anime and even wallpapers for everyone.

I don't think any of it got taken. I don't feel bad though. At least the Luminaria pictures went and I finally go t to give that picture to Keitaro and Kristin.

My Received Files

Though I was Lucky enough to find The Malice Mizer song I have been looking for (Thanks Josh). I came to realize that what I was most interested was the works of the other students and to watch them again. Especially T&K's Closed Circuit (2008) Piece.

Though I meddled with some more movies and a few interesting pictures that The Professor provided I figured the ability to destructure and analyze the works of my peers was the biggest payoff for the event.

Ruminalia

Through the entire course of the day I pronounced my R's as L's and vice versa. I must thank Chintan for putting up with this.

And so it happened. As if it were a Game show I was here, standing in a festival with a ttag around my neck that read "artist". I have always wanted a tag. Weather it be one at an Otaku convention or even a backstage pass, I just wanted something on my neck that says "I know what I'm doing so don't talk to me/talk to me".

Sadly, I don't think my peers shared the same enthusiasm over their badges that I did. Don't be deceived by their smile.

There was so much going on and sadly most things were left out like the orchestra, musicians, artists, including the guy who was painting on the spot! I spent most of my time against my Chintans will, in the Movie place where I enjoyed the crappy stop motion movies of High school kids (The oxymoron is expected). Also I was lucky to have witnessed "A Story About Bob"... an amazing movie which I have become a huge fan of... maybe because the creator was about my age or because it seemed like I could learn from him, but for whatever reason I want to purchase it on DVD.

The truth is, even after 3 weeks later I haven't completely Digested the event. I still think of it every night so there really isn't anything I can conclude with. I can mention The Spiderman Lucha Wrestler Hero guy, The Unbeleivably entertaining guy with a parrot, or even the Lazer show. Anyway you were there too so you probably understand what I feel already.
